Stephane Berthet
Founding Partner
Stephane founded Hyphen Alternative Advisors in 2016 after a senior career at some of the world's leading financial institutions. He was formerly head of the USD 2.6bn Morgan Stanley UCITS platform, responsible for sourcing and onboarding new managers, distributing platform funds, and managing the ALPHAS managed account platform totalling USD6bn. He has also developed structured solutions for institutional investors including Solvency II and Basel III complaint products, fund derivatives and UCITS-wrapped strategies.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Stephane held roles at BNP Paribas (UK and Switzerland institutional coverage, fund derivatives) and Société Générale (Head of European Fund Derivative Structuring and Switzerland sales). His expertise spans liquid and alternative UCITS, Hedge Funds, Structured Products, and Private market capital raising across Europe and internationally.

Alex Trichot
Partner
Alex brings over 20 years of investment management experience gained at Mercer, BNP Paribas Fauchiers Partners, Russell Investments and Winton Capital. His career has spanned manager advisory, manager selection, product development and fund raising across hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and long only strategies.
Throughout his career, Alex has built a broad global network of institutional investors and developed deep expertise in matching the right fund providers to the right investors. He brings particular strength in tailored distribution solutions that work across both liquid and illiquid asset classes.
